My name is Dave Dunham, and I may or may not have a coffee problem. But since I help pastor a GenNext church in one of the most troubled cities in Southern Ohio I like the extra energy. I have spent most of my life moving around from city to city. Now, that I am a pastor I am trying to settle down…I have been more busy than ever. I have helped to plant churches and served as a church
consultant, with The Society for Church Consulting. I teach courses at both our local university and at an interdenominational Free Seminary. I currently serve as Associate Pastor at Revolution Church in Portsmouth, Ohio. I received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Pre-Theology from Ohio University, and a Masters of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. My wife Krista and I, along with our two children, currently live in Portsmouth, Ohio.
This blog, that you have clearly stumbled onto, is an attempt on my part to expand my discipleship efforts. I do a lot of writing and I work a lot with our folks to help disciple them. This blog is both of those things. I write to synthesize my thoughts, but also to encourage growth among our church members (and perhaps anyone else who reads). Mondays I post book reviews, and the rest of the week I am reflecting on theology and culture. So snoop around and feel free to comment on the posts.
